A pretty amazing day down at Upottery in mid July - a visit to the airfield by E Co vets. The C47 took off with a certain Mr Neil Stevens aboard and being watch by E Co vets Don Malarky and Earl McClung - bottom left hand corner of screen, they left from this very airfield and this very runway June 5 1944

This is the first time that this very C-47 has returned to this airfield since 1944..Upottery is in devon uk and is where elements of the 101st airborne division took off From on june the 6th 1944 D-day...many where lost..you will see it at the start of band of brothers...However this is the real upottery airfield..And what a real treat and honour it was for me to of filmed this.... Thankyou very much Robin..July 31 2007
